From Disconnection to Alignment
A couple weeks ago I felt lost, disconnected, going through the motions… I was grinding and putting forth effort in work, relationship, life, but could feel an inner-lack of connection to my true self… I noticed this but didn’t have a clear answer of how to climb out of the rut. It wasn’t a deep rut… and I wasn’t panicking to get out. I was just noticing a less-than-optimal state.
Then it came to me… “remember where you came from”… “remember what you’ve moved through”… “remember why you’re doing what you’re doing”… “remember who you are…”

To connect to myself, I had to reconnect to my past.
The mantra above emerged.
I started repeating it.
I started reminding myself.
I started remembering.
I started feeling alignment.
When a mantra enters my mental space, I double and triple down… all. day. long. Constantly cycling and repeating the phrases. Breathing it all in. Letting it move me. Letting it motivate me. I’ve been on this practice for years now.
With this mantra comes a flood of emotions - pain, love, loss, joy, grief, hope, hurt, excitement, fear...
That is the point.
Feel it.
Hold it.
Accept it.
Breathe it.
Use it to move you forward in life,
work, relationship, health, spirit.
Positive Self Affirmations // aka Mantras are my favorite mental health practice. There’s nothing I’d rather have floating through my mind all day long than “breathe”, “let’s goooo”, “remember where you came from”, “remember who you are”, “you are strong, safe, here, everything, nothing” - it’s better than negative self-talk… and you can do it too…
A challenge for you: try the mantras above - all day long - for 3 days straight and let me know what shifts… you got this, you just gotta do a little digging 🙏🏼
