Better Posture, Better Focus

A fascinating phenomenon occurs when we hear the word "posture."

Did you notice?

Reading the word "posture" instantly makes you shift your posture. Most will correct their posture and try to sit up taller, stronger, more grounded, present.

Did you feel it?

Posture isn't a body position. It is a state of mind communicated through the body.

When you bring attention to your posture, with it typically comes an intrinsic motivation that surges through the spine, lifting your chest, deepening the breath.

What do you notice?

Within every being burns an inner fire. "Lazy" posture smolders that flame. "Aware and present" posture fuels it.

Hearing the word "posture" will stoke the fire of inner-presence. For some it pokes the emotions of shame and guilt. But these are one in the same, for you cannot feel shame nor guilt unless you have a deep care for yourself, for your heart, for your growth.

So if hearing the word posture stokes guilt and shame, shift that energy into momentum and channel into improvement of posture. This will undoubtably have an positive influence on mind, body, and breath.

Feel the shift?
